Tell the world your story!

I often like to step into the shoes of someone else and see through their glasses. How else will I know how big their nose is and how well the glasses really fit? Also, the new tint paints the world with a different set of shades altogether and what’s on their focus might have never been on mine.

I remember walking with my grandma’s glasses as a kid. The floor would appear closer than it is and I would end up taking giant steps only to find my feet sinking in. It was all so illusory and I never understood the complexity of its working as a 4 year old.

Strange, even my reflection on the mirror would look different. Then, I would see how big my nose is and meekly understand that my liberty to swing my fist ends just where the others’ nose begins.

Well, life is a tale — you’re the hero, you’re the villain and you’re all the characters you want to be. What’s life without variety, after all? William Wordsworth rightly said,

All the world’s a stage,
And all the men and women merely players:
They have their exits and their entrances;
And one man in his time plays many parts,
His acts being seven ages.

I travel places, I’ve s(b)een different men from different lands, Parseltongue and Klingon are my mother tongues, I fall in love with font faces, the English tea is my most trusted companion and I am a Roman in North Carolina.

Live long and prosper!

Sigh! I’m just an avid reader that knows a thing or two picked up from books. I devour books as a pastime, I read line after line on autopilot - I remember some, I forget a few, but there are some anecdotes that are etched in my heart forever, and I’m here to share a few! Hope you like them too.

The town was paper, the memories weren’t.

Follow my blogs to read my book reviews and occasional series reviews. Go ahead, step into my shoes and glance through what I see! It’s an interesting alternate universe, trust me.
